WHAT IS SPANISH HILL?

Discrepancies:

Spanish Hill has captured the interest and hearts of many historians and just plain interested people (like me) alike throughout the years. Because the hill has been able keep it's secrets of who used or visited it and for what purposes, these things continue to be topics of debate to this day.

I hope that you will use the information provided on this site to incite you to research and make your own conclusions concerning the discrepancies surrounding Spanish Hill and our local history.

Some of the issues include:

1.) Did Brule ever visit our area?

2.) Is Spanish Hill the site of Carantouan?

3.) Who were the Susquehannocks and were they natives of this area?

4.) Why is there the reference to SPANISH?

5.) Were there giant skeletons really found here?

6.) Noted Historians and what they have said
