The Builders of the Mounds

Over the past year I have been studying what many would refer to as "The Mound Builders" and how this relates to Spanish Hill.

First - there are many cultures around the world that built mounds. I am discussing the ones that were built in North America and east of the Rocky Mountains.

This has not been an easy topic to cover as there have been many misunderstandings that have occurred for centuries about who the Mound Builders were, and mysteries still exist as to what many of their mounds were used for so long ago.

I have created this area of the website to try to explain this story to the best of my knowledge at this time, and I am sure that I will continue to work on this site for years to come.
