The Susquehannock (Andaste) Language

Excerpt from American Language Reprints - 1996 Edition- (Reprinted from Thomas Campanius Holm 1834 and Johannes Campanius 1696):

Of the Minques, or Minkus, (Dutch name for Susquehannocks) and their Language

"My grandfather, John Campanius, having made a small vocabulary of the language of these minque Indians, I have thought proper to insert it here, that the difference may be seen between this language, and that of the other Indians." ~Thomas Campanius Holm 1834
