Ted Keir

Ted Keir is well known in this area. In fact, it would be strange if you lived in Bradford County and "didn't" know Ted.

He has been involved with the Fish and Game Commission for many years.

He was an Earth Science teacher in Athens, PA.

He has been involved with every historical / archeological event known in this area.

He has been the man that has been called when anyone has been digging on their property and found human remains.

More than that, he has been the person who has been involved with more archeological finds at Spanish Hill for the past 25 years than anyone else.

His collection is much different than any others that I know of.

See for yourself.

ALL OF THESE ARTIFACTS WERE FOUND EITHER ON OR ON THE RIVER FLATS BENEATH SPANISH HILL

Artifacts that have been drilled through

The neat thing about this piece is that the flip side has been worked as well...

see below:

Ted says he has never seen  one worked on both sides like this, and as you can see by this side -- there is a small hole in the middle all of the way through the piece.

He has alot of small napped tools...

and pottery shards...

and more pottery shards....
