Clair and Bonnie Campbell

Clair Campbell contacted me via this website and invited me to come see his collection. Wow. He has been collecting for the past 25 years, and has built up quite a significant collection.

In fact, Clair is a proud owner of one of the handful of Clovis points found in Bradford County, PA.

But one of the things that most impressed me about Clair's collection, was his organization of it. He has, in fact, a better organized system than some museums that I have been to!

This is Clair's system

First he has mapped out all of the areas in Milan that he has collected from:

Then - he has grouped items into frames, numbering each point.

Then he wrote up a note on each item in each frame:
